Hi Everyone!
My name is Genia Kuypers, I am a 24-year-old post graduate journalism student at Humber college. Which is what most people know about me, what not everyone knows is that I was recently diagnosed with Endometriosis. As I began researching and trying to find solutions to the issues I was undergoing I noticed a huge gap in information. Don't get me wrong there are tons of sites that tell you all about endo and some prescriptions you can take but I wanted more.
That's how this all started. I wanted to make a comprehensive, attractive, informative site dedicated to raising not only awareness to women's hormonal imbalances, but I wanted a space that allowed women and their families or friends somewhere they could look for information that was easy to understand. Both the PCOS and Endo community have been unheard for too long!
My site will explore various treatment options women undergo and their stories. With a spin-off section dedicated to recipes, I've created for myself that I want to share with you!
The issues women face are not going away merely increasing in numbers. Which is why something needs to change!
